Happy April 15th!

Our sweet little boy!
Evan and Miss Macie

Checking out his Easter basket

He LOVES the exersaucer!

Working on a little something in the exersaucer...

The end of tax season is finally here...yippee! We are excited to have Aaron home at a normal time and to be able to do things as a family on the weekends!
Evan is as cute as ever and will be 6 months old on the 21st. He is so much fun and such a little talker! He LOVES to roll over from back to front, put everything in his mouth, play with his toys, read books, hang out in the exersaucer, go for walks, pet Maddux, shop with mom, and ride in the car. What a sweetie!
We usually spend Easter weekend at home since Aaron works on Saturday, but Evan and I decided to spend it in Eau Claire this year. I had Thursday and Friday off and we were looking for something to do. We spent Thursday with my friend Jane and her little boy Cole. I didn't get any pictures because we were at the mall and there weren't any good photo opps. We walked around, shopped a little, had Caribou (the moms did), and sat in the comfy chairs at Ridgedale. It was great to spend time with Jane and see cute little Cole!
Evan and I met Aaron for dinner after work and Evan had fun watching everyone at the restaurant. He is quite the charmer!
We headed to Eau Claire on Friday and had dinner with grandma Mary Jo, grandpa Marv, and great grandpa Vern. He couldn't get over how big Evan has gotten! On Saturday we went to visit my friend Kristen and her kiddos...Ethan and Macie. We went for a nice long walk, watched Ethan play at the park, and then hung out at their place for awhile. Saturday afternoon we did a little shopping with my mom, then had a great steak on the grill dinner that my dad made. Yum!
We went to Hope Lutheran on Sunday morning for the Easter service. I was the youth director at Hope before we were married and Evan was baptized there in Jan. It was so great to see everyone and Evan slept through most of the service....even with the trumpets and bells!
We had lunch after church at my parents' house with my grandpa, Matt, and Hannah. Matt and Hannah had been in Milwaukee for the Brewer game, so we were glad that we could see them before we headed back to the cities. They love Evan!
Evan wasn't sure what to think of his Easter basket, but loved the bunny balloon that my dad gave him. He smiled everytime he looked at it and had some good "belly" laughs when my dad was playing with it!
We are excited that the weather is getting warmer and that we can start doing some fun things now that tax season is done!
